Non-Governmental Organizations
The Galveston Bay Estuary Program seeks to partner with
non-governmental organizations (NGO) to implement The Galveston Bay Plan. We have
mutually beneficial relationships with many NGOs.
The
Galveston Bay Estuary Program has made available resources that you can use to help GBEP
Preserve Galveston Bay for Generations to Come... GBEP also provides
periodic funding and technical assistance that
your NGO can utilize to further its mission. Specifically, GBEP
can:
- Equip NGOs with information on grant
programs and help with proposals
- Help organize and conduct workshops and training
- Prepare letters of support for local
action projects
