Civic Associations

The Estuary Program wants to work with you to protect the bay.  We would like to speak to your association about the benefits the estuary has to offer — from supporting the local economy to providing recreation and quality of life.

In the meantime, you can help Galveston Bay in several ways:

• learn more about the estuary and its environmental challenges;
• become involved in its protection; and
• help remove litter from our communities, waterways, and beaches and plant marsh vegetation and trees; and
• reduce your consumption of non-point source pollution … visit the EPA’s Web site for more information.
